C.A Moore & Son was established in 1946 by my grandad, Cliff Moore (1st). My Grandad originated from Askern a small village near Doncaster and started out painting and decorating working men's clubs around the South Yorkshire mining communities.
My Grandad worked for people with a real sense of pride, a handshake on a price or a job was valued for them both, this was the beginning of our business and is the principles in which we try to follow in our work today.

My Grandad never advertised and had repeat contracts for over 20 years working in the working men's clubs, my dad, Cliff Moore (2nd) adopted the same values of my grandad and also the same clients, giving the best possible service and work he could.
The next 20 years witnessed C.A Moore & Son expanding into the area of full refurbishments, building works and design. Designs such as the Royal British Legion in Edlington, Doncaster, all designed and built by C.A Moore & Son, one of many over the 60 years in business.

keeping up the good and well established name to pass on to my son, who is of course named Cliff Moore (4th), a name to be proud of.
